Humber-talking has set our priorities, this month we are to:
1. Reduce ASB - Improve the quality of life in the community
During July, reports of anti-social behaviour had seven reports of a nuisance motorcycle in the Church Street and Back Lane area of Burton Pidsea.
UPDATE:
Following numerous reports of a nuisance motorcycle riding around repeatedly late at night a rider has been identified. The rider has been issued with a Section 59 Warning - 'Driving in a careless or inconsiderate manner' contrary to section 3 of the Road Traffic Act 1988. Should the rider continue with this behaviour police can seize the motorcycle.
Action taken:
We have been working closely with local partners to deal with this problem.
When suspects have been identified, proportionate action is being taken to hold them to account while also diverting them away from causing further issues. In order to reduce this further we need residents to continue to report incidents and provide the identity of those responsible if possible.
We will continue to monitor and patrol the area and access the impact.
We would also encourage the community to report any issues by calling Humberside Police on 101 (non-emergency number) or CrimeStoppers on 0800 555 111.
- Preventing Theft
We are aware of concerns regarding Thefts in the ward area.
Action taken:
We have been working hard to provide support and guidance to prevent further offences, whilst completing enquiries to identify and tackle those responsible.
We will be completing regular patrols in the areas of concern.
If anybody has information about those responsible for these type of offences, then please contact us through the 101 number or alternatively, by calling the independent charity CrimeStoppers (0800 555 111).
